Artemis Racing capsize AC72 during training

Artemis Racing, the Swedish challenger, has capsized its AC72 during training on San Francisco Bay on Thursday afternoon.

Support boats are on the scene to assist in recovery of crew and boat.

He died doing what he loved

Team Artemis Racing was out training on the San Fran Bay today on their AC72 when the boat capsized. One sailor, Andrew Simpson did not survive after attempts of reviving him.

As sailors, we are a family and many thoughts and prayers are going out to his family and wife.
